The 10 Most Instagrammable Places in London

London is an incredibly photogenic and a very Instagrammable city. There is an infinite number of floral covered cafés, colourful restaurants, and rustic and authentic streets. You’ll be sure to turn a corner and be able to capture that pic. It’s no wonder why the bloggers, influencers and basically anyone with an Instagram feed can look like a superstar.

Many of these shops adapt their décor for the seasons making them ever-changing and stunning that attracts anyone and everyone.

Peggy Porschen

The Peggy Porschen café is notoriously known for their pink exteriors and floral decorations that shot to fame due to social media. With such a unique layout and vibe, expect to wait in line to eat or take your photo. This place is definitely a great place to have brunch, a coffee or a cake, but it’s even better when you’ve captured your photo to go along with it.

Coppa Club

Coppa Club is that place to eat, drink, and unwind after a long week. With igloos right on the River Thames, offering views of the Shard and Tower Bridge. The igloos seat around 10 people, making it a great date night with your friends or family. It truly is a beautiful place in the day and at night, so be sure to book in advance to get a spot because it’s hands down one of London’s hotspots.

Neal’s Yard

Neal’s Yard is one of London’s hidden gems that many people are actually not aware about. You’ll pass cobblestone streets to get there, reminiscent of Harry Potter, and then you’ll find colourfully painted houses and small restaurants. This place gets packed quickly with tourists and locals, so I’d advise to gear down there early. I guess grab your pic and go!

Portobello Road

If you haven’t seen Notting Hill’s colourful houses on an Instagram feed then you don’t know London. Portobello Road is the road where you will find these beautiful shades of pink, teal, light blue houses on the main road. It’s not just Balamory that has colourful houses. Notting Hill is truly an iconic place, not only for their carnival but they’re beautiful homes.

Keep in mind that these are people's homes so be as respectful as possible, and please don’t disturb their peace just for some clout..

Sky Garden

High up above London, sits the building known as the Walkie Talkie due to its unique shape. The skyscraper features a top-floor restaurant, tropical garden and sweeping views of the entire city. Here you can experience London from a spectacular viewpoint and capture the most insane pictures. Access to the Sky Garden is free of charge but spaces are limited so be quick!

Sketch

Sketch in Mayfair is London’s destination for food, drinks, music, and art. For many years Sketch was famous for its iconic pink interiors, with the pastel walls and its artwork. However, the place has since received a makeover, and now the space is lavished in golden, sunny hues.

This place is the definition of an Instagrammable hotspot. You won’t lack in having the most radiant of vibes for your pictures to post on Instagram feed.

The Shard

The Shard is now the tallest building in the United Kingdom, houses London’s Shangri-La, bars, and observation deck. Grab a drink and watch the sun set in the distance. Don’t forget to capture these memories for your feed.

Tate Modern

One of the most photogenic museums in London, displaying modern and contemporary art. See work by Picasso, Rothko, Dali and Matisse for free and check the latest installation of the Turbine Hall. Create brilliant TikToks and take the most artistic pictures.

Covent Garden

Covent Garden has always been photogenic and edgy but, in recent years they’ve added lots of Instagrammable props such as a wheelbarrow filled with flowers for your use. Surrounded by shops and food spots, you’re certainly chanced with capturing beautiful images.

The nearby area around Neal Street and Seven Dials also has pretty Instagrammable streets. You’re spoilt for choice!

Tower Bridge

Tower Bridge is one of the most Instagrammable places in London, as one of the most iconic spots in the country. You can walk along the promenade and capture a picture there or from both the north and south side of the Thames river.

Head to Butler’s Wharf Pier for a hidden and less crowded walkway with better views of the bridge.

There’s a lot of beauty that we’ve showcased here, but rest assured knowing there’s much more than all this to unpack in London. Discover drama and comedy at the National Theatre

The National Theatre is an iconic landmark in the UK, situated on the South Bank which is a prime location for experiencing everything London has to offer. If you're a fan of furniture that's both beautiful and functional, you won't want to miss out on the Slow Motion collection.

Rick Owens and Michele Lamy

Did you know that Rick Owens has been dedicated to furniture design for over a decade? Surprisingly, this artistic aspect of Owens' work is often overlooked in the fashion industry. However, his unique style is evident in his collection of angular furniture pieces made from rocks and marble. This particular collection was created in collaboration with Michele Lamy and has been featured in various places, including Kim Kardashian's office. Exploring the Wonders of Louis Vuitton SS23: Virgil Abloh's Yellow Brick Road of Imagination

The fashion world was mesmerized by the late Virgil Abloh's imaginative designs during the Paris Fashion Week runway show. It was a perfect blend of classic Abloh tropes and house signatures, with a reinterpretation of classics. The show was graced by famous faces, including Kendrick Lamar, who performed live with the FAMU Marching band. With the unfortunate passing of Virgil Abloh in November 2021, many wondered what would happen to Louis Vuitton. The Fall/Winter 2022 collection brought the late designer's dreams to life in a performance-led runway. Now, all eyes are on the Spring/Summer 2023 collection to see what the future holds for the iconic fashion house.

Louis Vuitton really outdid themselves at Paris Fashion Week this year. The opening was so cinematic and powerful, with a piece called "Strange Math" that explored the connection between imagination and reality. One part that stood out was the Florida A&M University marching band, who were all dressed in black, performing in an alternate reality version of Paris. It was amazing to watch. And then, just like that, they were transported into the live show at the Cour Carrée of the Louvre. It was all so breathtaking and unforgettable.

Louis Vuitton SS23 was an incredible show! The Marching 100 gave an outstanding performance in their FAMU uniform, and even wore some custom Louis Vuitton gear. As the models hit the runway, an orchestral opening of Kendrick Lamar's tracks filled the room, paying tribute to the late designer. Lamar even included a chant of "Virgil" in his performance, alongside his own hits like "N95". Overall, it was an unforgettable experience!

I recently attended a fashion show where I was blown away by some of the stunning designs. One of my favorites was a soft lilac suit that opened the show. The suit had darted collars, wide shoulders, and slim sleeves, while the exaggerated lapels and floral buttons added a unique touch. The matching trousers, clean white shirt, and chrome, mirrored, and white 3D LV logo briefcase completed the look perfectly. Following this delightful lilac suit was another standout piece - a brushed mohair coat. This beautiful and simple white overcoat was delicately adorned with purple flowers, making it an instant eye-catcher.

I was browsing through the SS23 collection and noticed an impressive selection of varsity garments. One jacket in particular caught my attention: a vibrant orange leather jacket adorned with playful puzzle shapes. It was a unique and eye-catching piece. I also saw models sporting Louis Vuitton sound systems either strapped to their backs or protruding from their shoulders. It was a clever nod to Abloh's love for music and architectural design. Overall, it was an impressive collection.

Louis Vuitton SS23 showcased a remarkable playground of fashion. It was an event that celebrated the genius of Virgil Abloh and the Menswear Design team. The show was a beautiful tribute to Abloh's incredible vision and his impact on the fashion industry. From the opening matching band to the final moments, the runway was a testament to his artistic genius. Abloh's legacy will continue to inspire and influence the fashion world for many years to come.

Prada Becomes the Latest Fashion Brand to Launch NFTs

Luxury fashion brand Prada is launching NFT's, available for free to those who purchase items from its Time Capsule initiative.

The NFT will be part of the brands ongoing Time Capsule initiative which was originally launched in December 2019. It drops limited edition physical products on Prada's e-commerce site on the first Friday of every month.

Prada dropped shirts on their website that comes with a free NFT that is designed like a pill capsule and backed up on the Ethereum blockchain. There will be 100 shirts and NFTs in total.

The new clothing range has been designed by artist Cassius Hirst. You can grab either a black or white button-down unisex shirt. These gender-neutral shirts, featuring Hirst's signature mask and brain scan designs, will be paired with NFTs of a GIF that shows a black or white time capsule. These NFTs will feature a unique serial number corresponding with the physical item.

Loyalty and rewards are a key part to Prada's NFT strategy. Anyone that has purchased previous or recent NFT's will also be gifted exclusive benefits and experiences. These exact rewards are yet to be revealed on the brand's new community server “Prada Crypted” and their website.

“There is a synergy between the Prada Time Capsule and the scarcity and desirability of NFTs” Prada said in a statement.

As it seems NFTs are the new phenomenon that luxury brands are getting their hands on. “Many people in luxury made the mistake in the past thinking that it was not so relevant Like social media, I don’t think that NFTs are good or bad, but they are a digital tool and it depends on how you use them,” Lorenzo Bertelli, previously told Vogue Business.

In recent years, the community of luxury brands to dabble into NFTs has been growing exponentially. Whether you like the growing trend in NFTs or not, they seem to be here to stay regardless. They may even be a worthy investment for the future. We expect Prada’s new collection will sell out fast so act quickly, or you may miss out forever.

We strive to help where we can, and if you need our help we will certainly do our best. Contact us directly via email or through your personal shopper with any enquiries you may have. We look forward to hearing from you. We are here to help 24/7.

V&A Museum Launches Major Coco Chanel Exhibition

The V&A museum is gearing up to stage a major new exhibition that will explore the life and works of Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel.

The show will be the first UK exhibition of its genre. It will also display the evolution of her designs and the formation of the House of Chanel. From the opening of her first millinery boutique in Paris in 1910, to the showing of her final collection in 1971.

The exhibition will feature more than 180 looks by the French couturière. This will be the first time that they have all been displayed together. It really is quite the occasion. The installation will also feature rarely seen pieces from the V&A’s very own collection, besides archive pieces from Chanel’s heritage collections.

This exhibition will provide Chanel lovers and enthusiasts alike, with the opportunity to explore the origins and elements of this style, and to highlight the little-known history of Chanel’s garments.

Gabrielle Chanel paved the way for a new kind of femininity through fashion. The legacy which has transcended through time, inspiring and influencing the way we dress today. Using herself as her own muse, creating clothes that she herself wanted to wear allowed her to anticipate what other women of the 20th century would want to wear also, with major success as the history books continue to show.

The exhibition will be split into eight themed sections; fabric, silhouette, and construction. It will also explore her professional career, personal style, and her impact on the fashion industry. There will be something for everyone’s tastes and interests, for sure.

“Gabrielle Chanel devoted her long life to creating, perfecting and promoting a new kind of elegance,” says Miren Arzalluz, director of the Palais Galliera. This exhibition will highlight one of the greatest visionaries of our time.
